1st July, 19 students of 3rd year Polymer Engineering Program along with four lecturers and a technical staff visited Aerospace Composites Malaysia Sdn.Bhd(ACM) that located at Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah. The objective of this industrial visit is to understand the manufacturing process of composite material as an aerospace component product and also an exposure the real-life working environment. We all assembled at Café Lembaran at 6 am and left the campus at 6.45 am. We reached the factory at 9.30 am. A chief of staff at Aerospace Composite Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, Mr. Zainal Shukri welcomes us at the entrance and gave a brief introduction about the factory and safety procedure. Then, all the students and staff are allowed to visit the production line and can freely asked question to the respective person.
