QUALITY POLICY AND QUALITY OBJECTIVES
QUALITY POLICY
- Fully commit to comply with a high quality conduct of analytical testing.
- MTL is committed in producing high quality and trusted results together with reliable reports for its customer.
- Shall adopt good laboratory and professional practices together with good ethics and shall ensure that the results of its testing services are valid, reliable and fit for the purpose.
- Consistently comply with requirements of MS ISO/IEC 17025 and SAMM to ensure the quality of test and measurement services, and to continually improve the effectiveness of the QMS. QMS will ensure that MTL achieves its quality objectives.
- The purpose of implementing this QMS is (i) to achieve recognition of technical competency and (ii) to have marketing advantage for materials testing services provided by MTL.
- Ensure all personnel and staff are qualified and fully experienced as well as familiarized with all procedure and standards. All staff, which involved with MTL directly are ensured to understand the contents of this quality manual and obtained a written assurance that they will implement the policies, objectives and specified procedures.
- To ensure that the relevant personnel undergo at least one training program per year, which is related to their job descriptions.
- To conduct at least one internal audit activities per year.
- Responsible for the impartiality of its laboratory activities and shall not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality.
- To ensure confidentiality information of customers.
QUALITY OBJECTIVES
- To maintain status of MTL as accredited laboratory under MS ISO/IEC 17025.
- To achieve satisfactory results, i.e. within -2 < z < of PT/ILC.
- To ensure the equipment used for testing are well maintained and calibrated yearly.
- To deliver test reports to customer within 15 working days or agreed period between laboratories.
- To achieve more than 70% customer satisfactory yearly via continuous improvement.
- To declare impartiality by all MTL staffs before performing job
