Syarat Kemasukan:

Syarat am, khusus dan syarat khas kemasukan/program

1. IJAZAH SARJANA MUDA

1. PNGK sekurang-kurangnya 2.75/4.00 ; atau setara
   Pemohon yang memenuhi syarat kemasukan yang jelas iaitu ijazahnya diiktiraf dalam bidang Sains, Teknologi dan Kejuruteraan.

2. PNGK di antara 2.50 - 2.74 dengan syarat yang telah ditetapkan.
   Permohonan bagi Ijazah Sarjana Muda dalam bidang Sains, Teknologi dan Kejuruteraan pada PNGK antara 2.50-2.74 perlu  memenuhi salah satu kriteria seperti berikut:

a) Pengalaman Penyelidikan ≥1 tahun; atau
b) Pengalaman Ikhtisas dalam bidang berkenaan ≥1 tahun; atau
c) Satu (1) penerbitan ilmiah dalam bidang yang dipohon; atau
d) Gred B untuk kursus-kursus major/elektif; atau
e) Gred B+ dalam projek tahun akhir.

3. PNGK di antara 2.00 - 2.49 dengan syarat yang telah ditetapkan.
   Permohonan bagi Ijazah Sarjana Muda dalam bidang Sains, Teknologi dan Kejuruteraan dengan Kepujian pada PNGK antara 2.00–2.49 perlu memenuhi kriteria seperti berikut:
   a) Pengalaman Penyelidikan ≥5 tahun; atau
   b) Pengalaman Ikhtisas dalam bidang berkenaan ≥5 tahun; DAN
   c) Satu (1) penerbitan ilmiah dalam bidang yang dipohon; atau 3
   d) Gred B untuk kursus-kursus major/elektif; atau
   e) Gred B+ dalam projek tahun akhir.

2. APEL A
   Mempunyai Tahap 7

3. SYARAT BAHASA INGGERIS
   a) MUET minimum 3.5; atau
   b) IELTS minimum 5.0; atau
   c) TOEFL iBT minimum 40; atau
   d) TOEFL Essentials (online) minimum 7.5; atau
   e) PTE Academic minimum 47; atau
   f) Cambridge English: B1/B2/C1/C2/Linguaskill Online minimum 154

Pengecualian syarat Bahasa Inggeris sebagai keperluan syarat kemasukan kepada pelajar antarabangsa seperti berikut:
a) Pelajar antarabangsa yang berasal daripada negara yang menggunakan Bahasa Inggeris sebagai bahasa rasmi; atau
b)  Pelajar antarabangsa yang menggunakan kelayakan akademik dari institusi yang menggunakan Bahasa Inggeris sebagai Bahasa pengantar sepenuhnya

Admission Requirements

1. BACHELOR'S DEGREE

1. CGPA of at least 2.75 / 4.00; or
   Applicants who clearly meet the entry requirements, namely those whose degrees are recognized in the fields of Science, Technology, and Engineering.
   
   
2. CGPA between 2.50 - 2.74 with the following additional conditions:
   Applications for Bachelor's Degrees in the fields of Science, Technology, and Engineering with a CGPA between 2.50–2.74 must meet one of the following criteria:
   a) Research experience for at least one year; or
   b) Working experience in related field for at least one year; or
   c) At least one (1) academic publication in the relevant field; or
   d) Grade B for major / elective courses; or
   e) Grade B+ for final year project
   
   
3. CGPA between 2.00 - 2.49 (Bachelor's Degree with Honours) with the following additional conditions:
   Applications for Bachelor's Degrees with Honours in the fields of Science, Technology, and Engineering with a CGPA between 2.00–2.49 must meet one of the following criteria:
   a) Research experience for at least five (5) years; or
   b) Work experience in related field for at least five (5) years; AND
   c) At least one (1) academic publication in the relevant field; or
   d) Grade B for major / elective courses; or
   e) Grade B+ for final year project

2. APEL A
   Level 7 Qualification
    
3. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
   (Applicable for International Applicants Only) 
   The minimum score for each programme may vary from the list below. Candidates are required to check the specific programme requirements:A minimum of Band 5 for IELTS; or
   A minimum score of 40 for TOEFL (Internet-based); or
   A minimum of Band 7.5 for TOEFL Essentials (Online); or
   A minimum score of 154 for Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) / Proficiency (CPE) /Preliminary (PET) / First (FCE) / Linguaskill Online (minimum score 154); or
   A minimum score of 47 for Pearson Test of English (PTE); or
   A minimum of Band 107 for CIEP Level (ELS); or
   A minimum of Band 3.5 for Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

Exemption is given to candidates if:

1. English is the candidate’s mother tongue or national language; or
2. The candidate graduated from an Institution of Higher Learning in which the medium of instruction at Bachelor and/or Master’s degree level is English (statement of proof required).
