Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), located in Penang, Malaysia, is one of the country’s premier institutions of higher learning. USM has three main campuses:
Main Campus (Penang): Located in Gelugor, Penang, this is the primary campus where the majority of the university’s faculties and administrative offices are situated.
Engineering Campus (Nibong Tebal): Situated in Nibong Tebal, about 50 kilometers from the main campus, this campus is dedicated to engineering programs and research.
Health Campus (Kubang Kerian): Located in Kubang Kerian, Kelantan, this campus focuses on medical and health sciences, housing the School of Medical Sciences, School of Health Sciences, and School of Dental Sciences.
USM also has 17 dedicated research centres for a wide range of specialisations which include archaeology, medicine and dentistry, molecular medicine, science and technology, Islamic development and management studies, and policy research and international studies.
